Privacy Policy

Last updated: October 9, 2026

This policy explains what personal data TIKT collects, why, how long we keep it, who helps us process it, and the choices and rights you have.

1. Who we are

TIKT, available at trytikt.com and app.trytikt.com, is operated by Maxime Musset, entrepreneur individuel (EI), 21 boulevard Alex Auvinet, 85600 Montaigu-Vendée, France (“TIKT”, “we”, “us”).

For the personal data of our customers and of visitors to our website, we are the data controller. You can reach us about privacy at any time at maxime@trytikt.com.

2. What this policy covers

This policy applies to our website, to the TIKT application and to your communications with us. Section 6 explains how we handle information about professionals that we process on behalf of our customers.

3. Information we collect about our customers

  • Account information: your email address. If you sign in with Google, the name, email address, profile picture and Google account identifier that Google shares with us.
  • Workspace information you provide: your company website and description, your ideal customer profile settings, the LinkedIn profiles you choose to monitor, the companies you choose to exclude, and the lists and feedback you create in the application.
  • Usage and technical information: sign-in events, activity needed to run your workspace and count your credits, and technical data such as IP address and browser type, recorded by our hosting providers for security.
  • Communications: the messages you send us.
  • Billing information: when you subscribe to a paid plan, billing details are processed by our payment provider. We do not store full payment card numbers.

4. Google user data

If you choose “Continue with Google”, TIKT requests only the basic sign-in permissions (openid, email and profile). We receive your name, email address, profile picture and Google account identifier. We do not request or access any other Google data, such as your emails, files, calendar or contacts.

  • Use: we use this information only to create your TIKT account, to sign you in, and to show which account you are signed in with.
  • Sharing: we do not sell it, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not transfer it to third parties, except to the infrastructure providers that run our authentication and database on our behalf, or when the law requires it.
  • Artificial intelligence: we do not use Google user data to develop, improve or train artificial intelligence or machine learning models.
  • Protection: it is stored in our authentication database, protected by encryption in transit and by access controls.
  • Retention and deletion: we keep it for as long as your account exists. You can ask us to delete your account and this information at maxime@trytikt.com, and you can remove TIKT's access at any time from your Google Account settings.

TIKT's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

5. How we use customer information, and our legal bases

  • To provide the service (performance of our contract with you): creating and securing your account, monitoring the profiles you choose, qualifying results against your criteria, counting credits, and supporting you.
  • For our legitimate interests: keeping TIKT secure and preventing abuse, fixing and improving the service, and sending you messages about your account and the service.
  • To meet legal obligations: for example keeping accounting records once you pay for a plan, or answering lawful requests from authorities.

We do not sell personal data and we do not use it for advertising.

6. Information we process on behalf of our customers

TIKT helps businesses find professionals who publicly react to or comment on LinkedIn posts published by profiles the customer chooses to monitor, and assess them against criteria the customer defines. To do this, TIKT processes publicly available professional information, such as name, headline, current role and company, professional background, location, profile photo, and the public reaction or comment concerned. This information comes from publicly accessible sources, collected through third-party data providers. The assessment may use automated tools, including AI models; it is a relevance indication for our customer's prospecting.

For this information, the customer is the data controller and TIKT acts as its processor, under our Terms of Service. Each customer's information is kept separate from other customers' information.

If you believe TIKT holds information about you, you can contact the customer concerned, or write to us at maxime@trytikt.com: we will forward your request to the customer and help them answer it, including by deleting your information.

7. Who we share information with

We work with carefully selected service providers who process personal data on our behalf and under our instructions, bound by contracts that protect your data:

  • cloud hosting and database providers;
  • background processing providers;
  • email delivery providers;
  • providers of publicly available business and professional data;
  • artificial intelligence model providers;
  • payment providers, once paid plans are available.

We may also disclose information when the law requires it, to protect our rights or users, or as part of a merger, acquisition or sale of the business, in which case we will inform you.

8. International transfers

Our main database is hosted in the European Union. Some of our service providers are located outside the European Economic Area, including in the United States. When personal data is transferred outside the EEA, we rely on an adequacy decision of the European Commission, such as the EU–U.S. Data Privacy Framework for certified providers, or on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses.

9. How long we keep information

  • Account and workspace information: for as long as your account is active, then deleted or anonymised within a reasonable period after the account is closed, unless the law requires us to keep some of it longer, such as accounting records.
  • Information processed on behalf of customers: for as long as needed to provide the service to the customer concerned, then deleted or anonymised.
  • Backups and technical logs: kept for short, rolling periods, then deleted automatically.

10. Security

We protect personal data with appropriate technical and organisational measures, including encryption in transit, access controls, separation of each customer's workspace in our database, and access limited to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the authorities of a personal data breach when the law requires it.

11. Your rights

Under the General Data Protection Regulation, you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or erased, to restrict or object to its processing, including processing based on our legitimate interests, to receive it in a portable format, and to withdraw any consent you have given.

To exercise these rights, write to maxime@trytikt.com. We answer within one month and may ask you to confirm your identity. You can also lodge a complaint with the French data protection authority, the CNIL (cnil.fr), or with the authority of the country where you live or work.

12. Cookies

Our website does not use analytics or advertising cookies. The TIKT application uses only strictly necessary cookies to keep you signed in and to complete sign-in, and stores a few display preferences in your browser. These do not require your consent.

13. Professional use

TIKT is a service for businesses. It is not intended for anyone under 18.

14. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as TIKT evolves. We will change the date at the top of this page and, for significant changes, inform customers by email or in the application.
